Company registration number: 1947/025008/07
Address: Unit 14, Gateway Industrial Park, 21 Graniet Road, Jet Park, Boksburg, 1459, South Africa
Email: sales@webcotools.com

2. Scope of this notice

This notice explains how we collect and use personal information when you browse our website, create a quotation list, submit an enquiry, communicate with us by email or telephone, or choose to contact us through WhatsApp.

3. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Please do not provide confidential, special personal information or information about another person unless it is necessary and you are authorised to do so.

4. Why we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

We process information where it is reasonably necessary to respond to your request, take steps towards a potential business relationship, meet a legal obligation, pursue a legitimate business purpose that does not unjustifiably prejudice you, or where you have provided consent.

5. Quotations are not online purchases

Submitting a quotation list does not place an order or create a sale. It sends product and contact information to Webco so that our team can review the request and provide a separate written quotation. Pricing, availability, delivery, specifications and applicable terms will be confirmed outside the website.

6. WhatsApp and external services

If you choose a WhatsApp link, you will leave our website and communicate through a service operated by a third party. WhatsApp and its related companies may process account, message, device and usage information under their own terms and privacy notices, potentially outside South Africa. Please use WhatsApp only if you are comfortable with that service. Email and telephone remain available as alternatives.

7. When information may be shared

We may share relevant information with authorised Webco personnel and service providers who support our hosting, website, cybersecurity, email, communications, professional advice or business administration. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a lawful business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information.

8. Cross-border processing

Some technology or communications providers may process information outside South Africa. Where cross-border processing applies, Webco will take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that offer appropriate protection as required by applicable law.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, related business and legal records, dispute handling, security, and applicable statutory obligations. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified where reasonably practicable.

10. Security

Webco uses reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No website or communication method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a qualifying security compromise, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

11. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access or correction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, request deletion where appropriate, or opt out of direct marketing.

Send requests to sales@webcotools.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Complaints

Please contact Webco first so that we can try to resolve your concern. You may also contact or lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator:
